Newsletter December 2018

Thank you! Message from Mam Khanyi.

As I reflect back on 2018, I once again stand in awe at the miracle of Berea Hillbrow Home of Hope. I started this home for girls in 2000 because the need was so dire back then. The need is even greater than it was 18 years ago. To run a home with nearly 80 children is a daily miracle.

Financial contributions from good-hearted benefactors, corporate CSI donations, individual gifts and volunteers who help with fundraising projects form the sum total of the income to run the home and to feed, clothe and educate the children.

Our volunteers and staff is the backbone of Berea Hilbrow Home of Hope. We are grateful for their tireless effort, commitment and love especially in the months when resources are low and they fall to the bottom of the list as the girls’ needs are the priority.

Please know that every contribution is life changing for the children at our home and in our outreach programme. We appreciate every effort great and small. Your prayers sustain us. We are deeply grateful for your support – seen and unseen.

We thank you for being a part of our lives.
